Wichita man arrested for suspected child murder

The Wichita Police Department said that at 10:40 p.m. on June 21, 2022, officers were called to a local hospital where a 22-month-old child had been taken. The child had arrived unresponsive and pronounced dead. Lab tests were ordered to discover the child’s cause of death.
