Movie Story : The epic tale recounts the life of King Asoka who rose to power but later embraced the path of Buddhism. Young Prince Asoka (Shah Rukh Khan), who is polishing his battle skills, is also struggling with family conflict. Asoka's mother (Subhashini) urges him to escape the conspiracies of his step-brother to stay alive. Asoka then meets Kaurwaki (Kareena Kapoor Khan) and falls in love with her, but he must use his warrior skills to protect her.
