Movie Story : Billu (Irrfan Khan) is a poor barber based in the Budbuda village, who owns a shabby salon, lives a simple life, and struggles to make his ends meet for the most of the year.His family includes his wife Bindiya (Lara Dutta) and two kids — Gunja (Mitali Mayekar) and Ronak (Pratik Dalvi) — whom he has always told how he used to be friends with the now superstar Sahir Khan (Shah Rukh Khan).His luck turns overnight when Sahir Khan decides to visit Budbuda for his next shoot, and word spreads in the village about their friendship.While earlier Billu and his family were looked down upon by most of the villagers, they are now showered with gifts and love — and of course, the requests of arranging a meeting with the superstar.
