Movie Story : Panchayat is a comedy-drama set in Uttar Pradesh’s Phullera village. Abhishek Tripathi (Jitendra Kumar), a fresh engineering graduate, reluctantly takes up the job of a secretary in Phullera’s panchayat (village council) office.Born and brought up in the city, the slow-paced lifestyle of rural India is alien to him.
